Hesketh Ecology employs qualified chainsaw operatives and can undertake felling work to meet conservation objectives. We can offer a full service from initial land management plans to implementation of objectives. Being experienced ecologists, there is often a considerable saving to be made when clearing woodland used (or potentially used) by protected species such as red squirrels or bats, in that we are able to make on-site assessments as to the potential value of an individual tree or piece of woodland prior to felling. This has saved our clients time and money where otherwise individual disciplines (ecological consultants and tree surgeons) would be required.
